You've managed to work out a fitness plan for other areas of your life such as diet, exercise, friendships, finances, etc. But what about the fitness of your relationship?

Balancing Act

Relationships are tough enough but adding the stress of life can send a relationship into a tailspin. The pressures of family, children, work, finances, etc. can intensify the strain but the pressure can be overcome if the two of you work together.

Juggling Responsibilities

Juggling responsibilities is a familiar concept, especially in a two income family. You've become very busy. There may not be enough hours in the day to finish the tasks at hand. With both of you out of the house, it is important for you to set time aside for yourselves as a couple and for yourselves as individuals. Plan date nights and conversation time. Set aside an hour each day for alone time with just the two of you. Find time to wind down and enjoy each other's company to relieve the stress and frustration of everyday life.

Get Help If Necessary

Reaching a point of balance in life may be difficult but it can be accomplished. Don't be afraid to ask for help, if necessary. Recognize that you are not alone in this struggle and there are people in your life that are willing to help.
